Hello all!

Interested in celebrating the Mid Autumn Festival together this year? For those not familiar with this festival, it falls on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month. It is also known to all as the Mooncake Festival. The folks celebrate this by gathering with loved ones, sipping tea, eating mooncakes and admiring the moon while the kids play with lanterns.

We are not doing any rides but meeting at East Coast to have a moonlight picnic. Actually I won't know if we can actually see the moon from where we will be but let's just have fun and enjoy the company. The meeting point is at a bbq pit so you can either drive or ride there. If you want to ride around the area, you are most welcome to do so too! Do bring your family, friends or pets along!

I will bring some mooncakes for everyone and perhaps some drinks. Please let me know if you want to contribute some mooncakes, fruits, drinks or snacks etc.

Date: 12th September 2011, MONDAY
Time: 8.30pm onwards till all mooncakes are gone
Venue/Meeting point: East Coast Park, BBQ Pit 58F (near Bougainvillea garden)
Nearest carpark: F2
Attire: Relax (If you want to dress up as Lady Chang-E or the Jade Rabbit, we will not object)

2. If you are riding to the venue, please make sure your bicycle and you are well lighted
3. We are just an informal group of cyclists, therefore none of us is liable or responsible for any accident or mishap that occurs to you during any of the rides we organize
